As I was thinking about spring today, all I could think of was how beautiful the Alps will be once the weather is a bit more moderate. There's something about the rolling hills and yellow dandelion mounds everywhere that sang "spring" to me as we were there. It was picturesque ... including the little weekend cottage/flat we got to stay in.
Wood piles, town & country walks, breath-taking views, delicious meals ... just you wait beautiful, little Switzerland, I'll be back!

Ahhhh, I have always wanted to go to Switzerland. Ever since I did a 4-H project as a child, have I wanted to embrace my inner Heidi. Though, my braids would be brown, rather than blond, and my eyes green, instead of blue. To walk those mountains and see the flowers and the cute little milk cows no doubt strategically placed for my own enjoyment! Someday. Someday.
@callee - YES! you must find the opportunity to go! i really wish i had more time to spend there ... like, months! growing up near the mountains, being right in the alps felt like a second home. it was so green, serene, quiet yet busy with it's "old world" charmed pace. (le sigh)

Cannot believe it was nearly 4 years ago! - I always think of it as though it had just happened yesterday. What a quick, whirlwind, amazing trip to share with you. Thank you for bringing me along! I have the best of memories in Meiringer, and Strasbourg! Love you dearly!
@Mariel - i'm just glad i had such a cool travelling buddy!! it does feel like a shorter while than 4 years ... i, also have some awesome memories made there with you :) where to next m'dear?! love back at ya...
