word of inspiration: reminiscing

source of word: Clearly, I just love the name of this color ... because of my sweet boy!  But this combination makes me reminisce much too.  My mom has a glassware set along the lines this one that I am swoony over and always keep my eyes peeled to find one for my self.  So finally, I found a small little vase that was similar.  I've used it for little flower buds, as a candy/cinnamon holder and mainly as my creamer.  Until ... I broke it this week.  Guess it'll be something I can remember(!) and I'll once again be on the hunt for some antique green glass with gilded gold.

source of word: In life, seasons are constantly changing.  The only way to enjoy it (whether hard or easy) is to welcome it with open arms - jump in with full enthusiasm.  Seeing as it's autumn, oxblood and it's counterpart colors seemed only fitting for this seasonal board.

word of inspiration: balanced perspective +PLUS+ ... I accepted the challenge from Chairish to style a board around one of their barstools for my "perfect home bar".  I chose to create a board with the theme for an outdoor patio home bar.  This collection, might I add, would be a dream outdoor bar for a certain someone's house. **also, it was hard not to add any wicker to this board!

source of word: You have to have a little bit of everything to achieve balance.  Similar to how when these colors and their varying elements (metal, wood, woven, gold-pressed, etc.) come together, it feels complete ... balanced.

source of word: If I were to have a favorite color combo right now, this would be it.  Each color compliments the other, they are all every season colors, there's something quirky yet feminine about each of them and the fusing of them all together.  They are just BLissss together.

source of word: This is one combination of colors that reminds me of camping.  Maybe it's these camping dishes or the fact that coolers and a lot of camping equipment is this blue.  And brown, just goes with the outdoors...naturally.

source of word: Springtime in Calgary is rather brown.  But like anything, if you look closer at all the different shades of brown (almost like different driftwood pieces), you see there are many hues, blues, and queues of varying colors.  I actually have grown to love the color driftwood and the season it represents to me.
